Hidden Beauty (2012)

‘An interactive live installation and performance, involving dance, visual art, sculpture, photography and multimedia.’

Legacy of Hidden Beauty is a captivating multimedia performance that explores themes of identity, self-awareness, and the natural beauty of our environment. Designed to inspire and engage audiences, particularly children, teachers, and art enthusiasts, the performance uses contact dance techniques to connect participants with the space around them, revealing the hidden beauty often overlooked in daily life.

This versatile performance can be adapted for indoor and outdoor spaces, transforming with each new setting to create unique, site-specific works. Accompanied by video projections onto walls and dancers’ bodies, the piece offers a dynamic visual experience that enriches its message. Initially developed in collaboration with Justify Move Dance Academy and Yorkshire galleries, Legacy of Hidden Beauty continues to inspire with its blend of movement, technology, and environmental awareness.
